Bass Home Inspection, Inc. was founded in October, 1987 by George Basista, Sr. As the leading home inspection company in the region, the company has built its reputation on trust and integrity. Bass Home Inspection, Inc. has conducted over 12,000 ASHI Certified home inspections, 1,500 Radon tests, 500 pest inspections, and over 250 mold/allergen tests.

All Bass home inspections are performed to ASHI standards (American Society of Home Inspectors). ASHI is the premiere organization nationally and sets the standard all across the nation for home inspectors. This is achieved by keeping updated on the latest techniques and changes in the inspection industry. To maintain ASHI certification, inspectors are required to attend education classes in various cities throughout the country every year. They must also attend continuing education to maintain licenses for Radon Testing and Pest inspections.

We inspect single family, condos, multi-family, condos, and commercial properties throughout northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

George Basista, Sr.(#001553), President of Bass Home Inspection, is an ASHI Certified Inspector and a Licensed Radon Measurement Specialist. He has personally conducted over 8,000 inspections and 1,400+ radon tests. Prior to starting Bass Home Inspection, Inc. he was a past builder, remodeler, renovator and also worked in the insulation business. George and his son George “Gee” Basista, Jr.,who has been with the company since 2000, take time to explain their findings as they move through the inspection and gather data for the report which is printed on site.
